This is a short list of the projects I take part in now.
Open Power Board
The project of Polish open-source discussion board system written in PHP 5.1. It was invented in late 2004, but in fact we started it a year later. The project is going to make use of Web 2.0 technologies, and be friendly not only for the English, but also for other nations, when it comes to i18n issues. This is one of our priorities, because the English programmers unsually doesn't know that month names could be... declined. As a result, their applications generate such monsters, as "15 czerwiec 2005", where the correct form is "15 czerwca 2005".
OpenPB is not only a discussion board. We are developing also a set of libraries:
- Open Power Template - the template system written in PHP 5, faster than Smarty with similar features.
- Open Power Driver - the add-on to the PHP Data Objects extension that adds the debug console and query caching. Its base API is the same like in the original.
- Open Power Forms - the add-on to the OPT library for data validation, request and response handling, collecting the information about the guest and automatic form processing.
See the website: www.openpb.net.
atlocations.com
Currently my only foreign project (only the PHP code) for the company that helps renting different locations for films, ads and public events.
Programowanie: PHP
I'm developing a Polish Wikibooks book on PHP. Although it's not ended yet, it is praised for very interesting presentation of the topic and many tips and tricks showed. I have a wide exprerience in writing the articles and tutorials that are easily understandable. I began writing them in 2002. So far, I have written about 50 of them, including the one for the PHP Solutions magazine, which has been translated to German, French and Spanish.
